About the event

Meet at the Small Pavilion.

Spend an hour learning how to make natural paints using berries, soil, and more. Forage your colors, mix up the paint and leave with a painting made from what you collected at the park.

This program is intended for families with K-8 children, but is open to anyone.

PARK HOURS and ADMISSION: 
Open year-round dawn to dusk
$5 vehicle park entrance fee from Memorial day
to Labor Day


NATURE CENTER HOURS and ADMISSION:

The Nature Center is open Memorial weekend through Labor Day.


The Center is staffed by volunteers (afternoons, Monday through Friday); and a naturalist is available afternoons on  weekends and holidays.
