Life on the Lake at Clark Reservation

Join  Naturalist Aidan Craner on an interactive hike to observe, capture, and  identify the creatures that live in and around Glacier Lake at Clark  Reservation. 

The hike will begin in the Nature Center for an  introduction and to pick up nets and containers, and then go down the  staircase and continue on into the lake and swamp trails to try to  encounter a wide diversity of lake and swamp animals. Identification of  the flora and fauna we encounter will be attempted, and use of your own  guide books or identification methods is welcome. Bringing your own nets  and holders is also encouraged as the Center has a limited number. 

Meet  at the Nature Center at 2 p.m. on 9/4, and expect it to end around  3:45p.m. Be prepared for moderately rough trails, climbing up and down  the large staircase, and all conditions!
