Moonlight Creature Hunt

Join  Naturalist Aidan Craner on a night time hike through the woods of Clark  Reservation. 

The goal will be to observe the activity of the nocturnal  animals of the area, which include most of the native large mammals and  many species of reptiles, amphibians, and insects. We will catch a  glimpse of the seldom-seen nightlife of our woods and try to spot  animals you wouldn’t normally be able to see by the light of day. 

Meet  at the Nature Center at 8 p.m. on 8/13 for a short introduction, and  bring appropriate clothes and equipment, such as flashlights, bug spray,  and walking sticks. We will stick to the easier trails because of the  darkness, but still be prepared for an hour to an hour and a half hike  in various conditions!
