About the event

There are many interesting, useful, and beautiful mushrooms native to Clark Reservation State Park, but where do we start looking?

Find out — join us for a “Mushroom Walk” with Thomas R. Horton, Professor of Mycorrhizal Ecology at SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry.

He will point out the many different types of mushroom species found in central New York forests and explain the beneficial relationships they have with larger plants and wildlife (including humans!).

Meet at the Clark Reservation Nature Center on Sunday, August 21 at 2 pm.
