About the event
Please join Brian Moore, FCR Board Member, on Saturday, June 7th on a hike as part of National Trails Day promoted by the American Hiking Society. The hike begins at 10:00 AM and ends at 12:00 noon. This moderately challenging hike will cover 3.4 miles through the park. There will be stops along the way to learn more about the history of the property, identify some trees and fossils, and learn more about the trail system.
Recommended for folks over the age of 7 who can walk on uneven ground and scramble up some rock outcroppings. Bring water.
The group will meet at the Nature Center and begin their hike at 10 am. NOTE: This hike is limited to 25 people.
